Outlet Manager

About the role

As the Outlet Manager, you are responsible for overseeing the outlet operations. You are responsible for maximising the dedicated outlet sales and enhancing the customer experience by maintaining a high table service standard as well as leading, training and coaching the Front of House Team.

Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

- Ensure that all communication regarding QR, QDF and its Food & Beverage operation are cascaded to the whole restaurant’s team by conducting effective daily briefing.
- Provide insights to the F&B Manager regarding Front of House employees, quality, services & operational issues through monthly operational review / reports and action plan.
- Assess on monthly or weekly basis Front of House employee deployment to ensure that the department is resourced effectively and report any shortages in terms of staff to the F&B managers.
- Responsible for the overall employee engagement for the respective outlet by constantly providing feedback and conduct quarterly review for all employees.
- Build effective working relationships with support functions such as purchasing, buying team, food & safety, cost control to ensure smooth operations.
- Implement and maintain a full Qatar Airways and FSCC policy to conform to QDF requirements and standards
- Work in collaboration with the Senior Executive Chef on menu engineering, provide valuable inputs during menu development/change by analysing in-depth customer feedback, trends and requirements.
- Support in driving objective for the respective outlet to exceed business expectations by driving all the KPIs.
- Analyse and monitor the outlet’s service results and implement impactful action plans that will enhance the guest experience.
- Responsible for adhering to all company procedures and compliance targets including Food Safety and hygiene to maintain the highest level of hygiene standards in the outlet.
- Plan and manage waiting team roaster, overtime and holidays ensuring that the outlet is effectively resourced.
- Implement controlling measures in order to control expenses and minimize breakage by maintaining the par level of equipment and OS&E in the outlet.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

About you
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience
- Working experience in fast paced multi units environments
- Experienced in HACCP and quality assurance implementation or Related Training
- Worked with a major internationally recognised hotel or Commercial Brand (preferably 5 star restaurant or hotels) is preferred
- Proven Track in management and achieving results
- Proven Track record in providing exceptional customer service and consistently exceeding targets
- Computer Knowledge in Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills
- Methodical and practice solution solver
- Understanding of food preparation, presentation and service
- Ability to react to challenges and operational incidents quickly and efficiently and resolving
- Financially astute and competent
- Strong mentoring and coaching skills (ability to train and develop colleagues’ skills, ability to foster teamwork among team members)
