We’re currently seeking a curious, energetic, and research-savvy Marketing Intern to support our team on content, campaigns, and strategic insights—especially around current affairs, events, and national sentiment in Qatar.

**Role Overview**:
As a Marketing Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting client campaigns, creating engaging content, and researching trends and news relevant to the Qatari market. You'll play a key role in helping us stay informed and relevant by tracking local developments—whether it’s a government announcement, a trending hashtag or major sports events.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about marketing, social media, content creation, and understanding how local culture, current events, and consumer behaviour intersect.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Content & Campaign Support**
- Assist in the creation of social media posts, reels, captions, blog content, and digital ad copy.
- Support with the development of monthly content calendars for agency and clients.
- Collaborate with designers and video editors to bring content ideas to life.
- Schedule and publish content using tools like Meta Business Suite, Buffer, or Hootsuite.

**2. Qatar Current Affairs Research**
- Monitor local news, government announcements (e.g., from MOCI, MOH, MOEHE), national holidays, and public events.
- Track cultural trends, major happenings (like Qatar National Day, sports tournaments).
- Prepare briefs summarizing key local developments and how they can be leveraged for content or brand positioning.
- Research audience sentiment across social media and online forums.

**3. Competitor & Industry Research**
- Analyse local competitor marketing strategies, especially on digital and social platforms.
- Track trending topics and campaign ideas used by brands in Qatar and the GCC region.
- Identify partnership or influencer opportunities relevant to client sectors.

**4. Digital Marketing Operations**
- Support social media management and community engagement (responding to comments, tracking DMs).
- Assist with basic performance reporting and analytics (followers growth, reach, engagement).
- Participate in internal brainstorming sessions and bring fresh ideas to the table.

**Qualifications**:

- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or Business
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills (English required, Arabic is a strong advantage).
- Social media savvy—familiar with Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, etc.
- Bonus: Familiarity with Photoshop, Canva, Google Workspace, or any social media scheduling tools.
- Organized, creative, and a fast learner with attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural work environment.
