Procurement Coordinator

The **Procurement Coordinator** is responsible for managing the sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of materials and equipment needed. This role ensures that procurement processes are cost effective while maintaining high standards of quality and timely delivery, contributing to the successful execution of projects.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Supplier Identification & Evaluation**: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for materials and equipment to ensure the best quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
- **Contract Negotiation & Purchase Agreements**: Negotiate contra cts and purchase agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery conditions.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor inventory levels regularly and initiate purchase orders as needed to ensure adequate materials are available for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- **Timely Delivery Coordination**: Ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment to project sites, working closely with suppliers to meet deadlines and prevent project delays.
- **Collaboration with Managers**: Work closely with managers to align procurement activities with project schedules, ensuring that materials and equipment are available when required.
- **Record Keeping & Reporting**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchases, contracts, and supplier performance for auditing and reporting purposes.
- **Supplier Performance Management**: Track and assess supplier performance, addressing any issues related to quality, delivery times, or service, and suggesting improvements.
- **Cost Optimization & Process Improvement**: Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in procurement practices, contributing to more efficient and cost-effective operations.
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- Relevant experience in procurement or supply chain roles, preferably within the construction or furniture industry.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills, with the ability to assess suppliers and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and work effectively with project teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR6,000.00 per month
