**SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR CIVIL **with excellent command of Civil Engineering Standard Method of Measurement 4 (CESSM4) and can handle can **PWA main contract payment**
- Measurement and evaluation of infrastructure and roads BoQ items per PWA Traditional B&E Contract provisions
- Preparation of Interim Payment Applications with supporting documents in accordance with PWA Contractors Payment Application Manual
- Support the Site team on measurement procedures and calculation of interim and final quantities
- Preparation of variation proposals, quantity take-offs and applicable costs as required.
- Provide support to the Contracts & Commercial Manager on all financial and contractual matters throughout the course of the project.
- Derive and evaluate the unit rates and/or fees for new work items where applicable.
- Support the Contracts & Commercial Manager on the preparation of claims from a quantum/cost perspective
- Prepare and issue contractual correspondence as and if required.
- Assist the project team in the preparation of periodic progress reports
- Ensure completeness and validity of all contractual (both upstream and downstream) requirements.
- Maintain expenditure records, correspondence, and MoM in a systematic fashion.
- Support and liaise with the accounting team and other project teams as and if applicable.

**Requirements**:

- Degree from internationally recognized universities in Senior Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in PWA (Ashghal) Re-measurable Contracts. This is a MUST for this position.
- Must have an excellent command of **Civil Engineering Standard Method of Measurement 4 (CESSM4)**:

- Must be familiar with PWA payment and variation procedures.
- Must have a very good command of other **Methods of Measurement such as NRM, SMM7, and POMI**:

- 10+ years of post-graduate demonstrable experience in all aspects of quantity surveying.
- 5+ years of related work experience in infrastructure and road projects.
- Minimum 5+ years experience in Qatar.
- Applicants with chartered status will be given priority.
- Working knowledge of software is typically associated with quantity surveying.
- Must have a clear understanding of, and ability to work with, construction contract commercial documents, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to perform difficult estimating activities typical to the engineering and construction industry required
- Must be currently available in Qatar.
