Master Carpenter

We are looking for a Master Carpenter who is responsible for building exhibition stands for big events and plays a critical role in the design, construction, and installation of exhibition booths and displays. To ensure that stands are not only visually appealing but also structurally sound, functional, and safe. This position requires a combination of technical skills, leadership abilities, and a thorough understanding of exhibition industry standards.
**Responsibilities**:
1. **Project Planning**:
- Understand designs and plans, then coordinate materials and resources needed for the project.
- Create and manage the production schedule to meet deadlines.
2. **Construction and Installation**:
- Build and assemble wooden structures for exhibition stands.
- Lead the team in constructing, installing, and ensuring all components are securely assembled.
3. **Team Supervision**:
- Manage and train a team of carpenters, assigning tasks based on skills.
- Oversee daily tasks and ensure high-quality workmanship.
4. **Quality Control**:
- Inspect work to ensure it meets design specifications and safety standards.
- Address any construction issues promptly.
5. **On-Site Setup and Dismantling**:
- Manage the installation and dismantling of stands at exhibition venues.
- Ensure safe transport and storage of stand components.
6. **Client and Designer Coordination**:
- Work closely with designers and clients to ensure the stand meets their expectations.
7. **Safety and Compliance**:
- Enforce safety practices and ensure the team adheres to all safety protocols.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Vocational training or apprenticeship in carpentry.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in carpentry, preferably with a focus on events and exhibition stands, booths or similar structures.
- Leadership experience in supervising carpentry teams.
- Expertise in woodworking and joinery.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance
