Your day-to-day: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive Total Revenue (Groups, Conferences, and Events) and sell to new, existing and prospective customers considering goals set forth in the sales strategy, negotiating an optimum rate for the benefit of the business.
- Establish and implement the hotel’s short, mid, and long-term strategy in conjunction with DOSM, Revenue team, EAM F&B, and other stakeholders involved
- Inspire, lead and manage an Events Sales & Events Management team by establishing a strong
- Drive for Results and service culture, communicating a set of goals and targets, and providing frequent feedback where necessary to manage performance to its optimum.
- Directing and driving groups & events business with a team of specialists, ensuring the Meetings standards are adhered to in order to ensure 100% client satisfaction

What we need from you:

- Experience in the same/similar role in the hotel industry, with exposure to the Qatar market
- Due to the nature of the role, fluency in the Arabic language is highly preferred, and familiarity with the Qatar market is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to diagnose problems, thoroughly analyze information and solve problems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong planning and execution skills.
- Proficiency in English & Arabic communication, presentation skills, and computer literacy.|
- Good mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances are utilized frequently
