**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Design electrical systems for elevators and escalators, including control panels, wiring, motor controls, and safety circuits.
- Collaborate with architectural and engineering teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into building designs.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical components in elevator systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in elevators and escalators, using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Stay updated on industry codes, safety standards, and regulations related to elevator electrical systems.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and maintenance records.
- Provide technical support to maintenance teams and assist in resolving complex electrical problems.
- Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure the availability of replacement parts and components.
- Monitor the performance of electrical systems and recommend upgrades or improvements as needed.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on elevator electrical systems.

**Qualification and Skills**:

- B. Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- Proven 5 years’ experience as an Electrical Engineer specializing in elevator systems.
- Strong understanding of elevator electrical components, including motors, drives, controls, and safety circuits.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes and safety standards (e.g., ASME A17.1, NEC).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation abilities.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Physical ability to access elevator equipment for inspections and maintenance.
