The Role
Clinical Pathologist - Qatar CLIENT Linum Consult’s client is a major organisation in Qatar. They are urgently seeking a Clinical Pathologist to join their team in Doha. RESPONSIBILITIES - Conducting comprehensive laboratory analyses, including haematological, biochemical, immunological, microbiological, and molecular tests on patient samples to aid in diagnoses and monitoring - Evaluating and interpreting test results, considering clinical context and relevance - Developing, implementing, and maintaining rigorous quality control & assurance protocols to ensure accuracy, reliability, and validity of test results - Adhering to established laboratory policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements - Providing expert consultation to healthcare providers on test selection, result interpretation, and clinical significance - Collaborating with pathologists, clinicians, and laboratory staff to optimise patient care pathways, ensuring seamless communication - Participating in the education and training of medical students, residents, fellows and laboratory personnel
