Calibration Technician

Taleb Group in Doha, Qatar is now hiring for **Calibration Technician** positions.

**Requirements**:

- experience in the calibration field minimum 3 years ( Oven
- Weight balance - weighing Bridge - Length - Batching plant RM Load cells - Feller Guage
- Diploma in Metrology or any relevant qualifications

**Salary**:QAR 1800-2000 based on his qualification and experience.

**Responsibility**:

- To receive the instruments for calibration from the customers.
- To check the physical condition of instruments as well as functioning of instrument.
- To verify the qty. and type of instruments received against customer delivery note / memo, if any.
- To prepare Calibration Service Request cum Instrument Receipt Challan
- To issue copy of Calibration service request cum instrument receipt challan to the customer for acknowledgement of receipt of their instruments.
- To paste masking tape on instrument along with the details of; Calibration service request (inward) No. (Job No.) / Serial no. of particular instrument in the inward.
- To place the instruments at the identified area such as “Instrument received for Calibration”.
- To clean the instruments before calibration.
- To clean the instruments with petrol and cotton waste in case of mechanical instruments.
- To keep instrument in the calibration standard room atleast for 30 minutes for soaking (To bring instrument in the equilibrium condition of the standard room).
- To start calibration of instruments as per the documented calibration method based on the priority of the calibration.
- To ensure that the calibration methods are available where calibration activities are performed.
- To record the results of calibration in the observation sheet.
- To complete the calibration and to get review and approval of results recorded in the observation sheet from the Technical Manager.
- To calculate uncertainty of measurement for the instruments calibrated as requested by the customer.
- To enter the data of the observation sheet in the computer and prepare calibration certificate.
- To get review and approval of the calibration certificate through Technical Manager / Chief Executive Officer.
- To collect photocopies of masters calibration certificate used for the performing of calibration.
- To attach photocopies of calibration certificates of master alongwith the calibration certificates and to place all such things in the cover.
- To place instrument at the identified place in the calibration room after completion of calibration.
- To deliver the instruments alongwith the calibration certificate to the customer.
- To ensure that the proper records are maintained at all stages of calibration and quality assurance activities.
- To prepare daily records of the mechanical / electrical / thermal discipline.
- To handle the instruments throughout the calibration activities in safe and proper manner.
- To monitor the accommodation and environment parameters (Such as Temperature, humidity, noise, illumination, electrical supply, earthing resistance) regularly and to maintain records for the same.
- To analyse the relevant records and to provide feedback to the Technical Manager against the customer complaint, if any.
- To do re-calibration of the instruments as per the Quality assurance schedule.
- To do calibration of the instrument selected for the inter laboratory comparison and to submit the results of calibration to the Technical Manager.
- To prepare uncertainty budget for all calibration parameters and to ensure that the same is used periodically for uncertainty of measurement.
- To identify the requirements for consumable purchase and forward it to Technical Manager.
- To help Technical Manager on day to day activities.
- To report to the Technical Manager on day to day functioning.
- To use available resources in an optimum basis.
- To reduce wastage of available resources.

**Authority**:

- To stop the calibration activities, if proper environment condition is not maintained / achieved.
- To take corrective and preventive actions identified based on analysis, related to the customer complaint or results of calibration.

**Application**:
Pay: QAR1,800.00 - QAR2,000.00 per month
