Ts Controller

About the role:
As TS Controller - Physical Security Systems, you will be responsible for helping us achieve the following:

- Provide Planning, Design, Technology Enhancements and Support for various physical security systems (PSS) and Telecom installed across Qatar Airways Group. Provide Customer Support and Operations for PSS, Telecom and Outstations.
- Day to day assistance for maintenance related services of PSS installed across various QR group facilities.
- Manage Lenel Access Control OnGuard Software and Alarm monitoring tool and actively lead in migration of the existing On Guard Software to the latest version.
- Coordinate with different stakeholders including OEM/vendor in Lenel interface testing.
- Analysis of PSS server and storage for OS, firmware and patch update.
- 24x7 on call support for various PSS installed in QR Facilities.
- Conduct Proof of concept for new technology related to PSS and Telecom.
- Supervision of technical testing, survey or field engineering teams.
- Preparation of designs, drawings, plans and specifications for projects, engineered systems, technical equipment or components.
- Coordinate with vendor for direct support relating to any technical or functional support whenever required.
- Coordination with vendors for site survey, infrastructure requirement and finalization of BOQ
- Technical support for PSS for 130+ Residential Facilities.
- Proactive and responsive interaction with end user to review expected need with result and to scope room for improvement.
- Ensure uptime of Security equipment based on response time and resolution of calls.
- End user 24X7 business support across QR Group.
- Engagement and coordination with suppliers/OEM for site readiness and other coordination works.

**Qualifications**:
**About you**:

- Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor’s level
- Degree in Electronics/Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
- Expert - minimum 10 years of job-relevant experience required
- In depth knowledge about federal and centralized Access Control System database architectures, access control card technologies, biometric technologies, and associated standards/ protocols.
- Exposure to Video Management System, CCTV Cameras and Advanced Video Analytics System
- Experience in Oracle and SQL queries and Data base management.
- Knowledge on Networking & Electronics
