Design Manager for Fit-out

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and oversee all phases of interior fit-out design projects, from initial concept through to final completion
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
- Coordinate effectively with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure alignment and project success
- Review and approve design proposals, technical drawings, and material specifications
- Ensure all designs comply with local building regulations, codes, and sustainability standards
- Deliver engaging presentations of design concepts and project progress to clients and stakeholders
- Implement and maintain quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle
- Stay informed of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in interior design and fit-out

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in **Interior Design**, **Architecture**, or a related discipline
- Minimum **12 years of experience** in interior design or fit-out projects, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
- Preferred MMUP Grade A
- Strong proficiency in **AutoCAD**, **Revit**, and other relevant design tools
- PMP certification is an advantage
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing design teams and multiple projects
- In-depth knowledge of **Qatar’s local building codes**, construction regulations, and permitting processes
- Proficiency in **Microsoft Office Suite**:

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing presentation skills
- Sound budget management and resource planning capabilities
- Experience in both **commercial and high-rise fit-out projects**:

- Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
