**INSTRUMENT / ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN**

**Electrical instrumentation technicians** are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment. They commonly work with industrial machinery or other large systems that require precise control over their operation.

**The Instrument/Electrical Technician shall**:

- Be capable of communicating in English language.
- Carry out unsupervised, maintenance work, both corrective and preventive on mostly conventional electrical and instrumentation systems & equipment including repairs & general tests. Carry out installation, maintenance and repair of a wide range of high and low voltage equipment as well as specific tasks e.g. Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based control systems, field instrumentation etc.
- Follow Qatar Energy safety regulations and instructions with regard to executing work activities, consideration of safety of others within his work party or vicinity. Be physically fit to be part of the FMB and/or STP’s Emergency Response Team.
- Understand and implement appropriate maintenance and repair procedures as detailed by the OEM in their operating and maintenance manuals.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum **03 years’ experience** in the position of Instrument/Electrical Technician in industrial sector, preferably in **OIL & GAS INDUSTRIES.**:

- Computer Literate - **MS OFFICE & Maintenance Management Software**:

- Must be available here in QATAR
- With valid QID and NOC
- Can join immediately
