FIRE PROTECTION & RESPONSE PLANNING

Primary purpose of job

Develop & deliver a comprehensive Fire, Rescue and Emergency Response training and development program for both fire

division and non-fire division personnel to ensure that current and new members of staff are trained and deemed competent

in accordance with the relevant codes, standards and practices.

When required, as leader of a team conduct continuous training and competency audits within defined responsible areas.

Consult with partner industries, QatarEnergy Corporate Departments to support development of training related policies &
procedures to meet the requirement with the relevant laws and regulations, within their jurisdiction.

Experience & Skills
- Minimum ten years as a Fire-Fighter (5 in supervisory position) in a commercial or industrial Fire-Fighter environment,

civil defense force, military fire service or three years as Sub Officer in QatarEnergy.
- Qualified Fire service instructor
- Possess a valid driving License, preferably Heavy Vehicle.
- Technical skills -- must be able to use broad range of modern equipment for fire fighting and rescue.

Education
- HND or equivalent. Graduate of Institution of Fire Engineers or equivalent diploma in fire fighting/watch management.
- Upper Intermediate English Language (QatarEnergy LS) both spoken and written
