Hostess

We are searching for a Hostess with a pleasing personality to be a part of our client's 5* hotel in Doha, Qatar.  You will be the first point of interaction for our visitors. Your duties comprise welcoming guests, providing precise wait times, and accompanying clients to the eating and bar areas.

For this position, you must have excellent Organizational and people management abilities. You should be certain that our visitors have an affirmative eating experience from the minute they arrive till they leave. You must also be able to work different shifts. You have to make sure we offer exceptional customer service and an enjoyable feasting experience to our visitors.

• Welcome visitors to the sitting area
• Provide precise interval times and monitor the waiting lists
• Answer the phones and manage the reservations
• Escort clients to allocated dining or bar areas and provide them with a pleasing dining experience
• Offer menus and allot them Waiter/Waitress
• Keep track of which tables have placed their orders
• Synchronize with interval staff about existing seating options
• Keep the reception area clean. Coordinate with the janitorial staff for the same
• Provide extra attention to guests like children or senior citizens
• Answer inbound calls and address clients' queries
• Support wait staff as required

• High school education is a must for this role
• Certification in Hospitality will be preferred
• Earlier work experience as a Host/Hostess or Waiter/Waitress in a reputable restaurant
• Knowledge of restaurant protocol
• Understanding of health and safety guidelines
• Know-how in handling reservations
• Outstanding communication skills
• Amazing soft skills
• Willingness to work in shifts, on holidays, nights, and weekends
• Pleasant personality with good customer service skills
• Good decision-making abilities
