About the Role

We are seeking an experienced BIM Specialist to support our client, a leading consultancy firm in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating Building Information Models (BIM) for infrastructure and building projects while ensuring compliance with established standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and coordinate Building Information Models (BIM) for infrastructure and building projects.
  • Ensure BIM standards, processes, and protocols are implemented and maintained across all projects.
  • Collaborate with design teams to integrate architectural, structural, and MEP models for design coordination and clash detection.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Provide BIM training, support, and technical guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients to facilitate smooth information exchange and project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in BIM coordination and management.
  • Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related tools.
  • Strong understanding of BIM standards (ISO 19650, PAS 1192) and model management workflows.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
