Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and review fire and life safety design for building and infrastructure projects in compliance with local and international standards (NFPA, QCDD, etc.).

• Coordinate with architectural, MEP, and structural teams to ensure fire safety requirements are fully integrated into the design.

• Prepare and review fire strategy reports, life safety plans, and related documentation for authority approvals.

• Provide technical guidance during design and construction stages to ensure compliance with fire safety codes.

• Liaise with QCDD and other relevant authorities for approvals, inspections, and certifications.

• Conduct fire risk assessments and propose appropriate design solutions.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Fire Safety Engineering (Master's preferred).

• UPDA Grade A certification is mandatory.

• Proven experience working with design consultancies in Qatar.

• In-depth knowledge of NFPA, QCDD, and international fire safety standards.

• Excellent coordination, documentation, and communication skills.
