As the business expands, we are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to be part of Qatar Airways Cargo's Global Pricing Team in Doha as a Lead Cargo Officer – Interline & Partnerships.

*About The Role*
In this role, you are accountable for developing cargo interline and strategic partnership operational framework with other partner airlines. Work alongside HUB and regional operations teams to develop most efficient process in line with regulatory framework and handling parameters.

Also responsible to support interline and partnership operational readiness for new partnerships, start-ups in co-ordination with partner airline, QR regional and HUB teams. Work in conjunction with safety, security and quality performance standards and support smooth operation transitions, finalization of MOP's for interline agreements, handling across the regions

As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:

• Responsible to define framework by engaging in an operational dialogue with partner airlines, QR Cargo internal and external stakeholders, supporting the commercial arm and mutually seeking beneficial operational conditions bounded by the compliance framework of each airline and supporting QR strategic requirements.
• Identify and develop operational synergies with Cargo and Ground Handling agents between Qatar Airways and partner airlines.
• Develop joint processes that can optimize specific compliance requirements to meet standards and requirements and benefit from the efficiencies for both Qatar Airways and partner Airlines.
• Take lead and be a focal point for all operational matters that require escalation throughout the logistic chain.
• Maintain relationships with partner airlines and internal stakeholders and initiate communication by identifying potential sectors or agreements to increase network support.
• Develop Cost efficient and lean initiatives that avoid double handling of cargo.
• Lead the creation of interphase for interline related IT setups for operational visibility and messaging compliance. Be the initiator for these developments.
• Collaborate with performance reporting team for generating/upgrading performance reports, which create value to the end-user at station and regional levels.
• Act as a support interface between IT/CROAMIS, Hub (QR Cargo and GHA) teams and regional teams on system, process development and change management to drive automation improvements in the regions.
• Support and monitor the Implementation of SOPs with the GHA's to ensure smooth interline and partnership cargo operations in the region. This also includes streamlining policies with GHA staff in order to follow procedures in the absence of cargo staff at the respective station.
• Review operational performance of airline partnerships, report to senior management and create strategies for corrective action where required.
• Ensure discrepancies and non-conformances are minimized in order to reduce claims and penalties at the

Qualifications
About you

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 4 years of job-related experience.
• Experience in managing Airline partnerships
• In-depth understanding of global air cargo landscape
• Excellent communication, analytical & negotiation skills
• Excellent command of English language – verbal and in writing
• Advanced MS Office skills
