Job Summary:

We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to provide excellent customer service, take food and drink orders, and deliver a positive dining experience for all guests. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a commitment to quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival
  • Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and offer recommendations
  • Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service
  • Process payments accurately using cash or POS systems
  • Clear and reset tables, and assist with general cleanliness of the dining area
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation guidelines
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy hours
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate issues as needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a server or in customer service is preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math and cash handling skills
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays up to [X] lbs

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced restaurant or café setting
  • Interacting with guests, kitchen staff, and fellow servers
  • Shifts may include nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Uniform and grooming standards must be maintained
