De CMM-programmeur is verantwoordelijk voor het programmeren, implementeren en uitvoeren van dimensionale inspecties met behulp van coördinatenmeetmachines (CMM) om te verzekeren dat onderdelen voldoen aan de specificaties.

Verantwoordelijkheden:

De kwaliteitsafdeling in Barco Operations evalueert het inkomende materiaal met verschillende meetapparatuur. Voor het programmeren en de bediening van de 3D meetbank en Vision meetbank zijn we op zoek naar een bediende/programmeur met volgend takenpakket:

  • Definieren van een meetmethode voor metingen met de meetbank:
    • Selecteren van de juiste probes
    • Bepalen van de meetopstelling
  • Opmaken/programmeren van het inspectie meetprogramma (CMM MCosmos software), gebaseerd op de 2D mechanische tekening en 3D model
  • Meten van de complexe opto-mechanische onderdelen
  • Rapporteren van de meetresulaten
  • Identificeren en documenteren van de meetwaarden/afwijkingen in een datatbase. 

Jouw profiel:

  • Je hebt een diploma in een mechanisch domein of gelijkwaardige ervaring
  • Je kunt technische tekeningen vlot lezen en interpreteren
  • Ervaring met het meten en beoordelen van mechanische onderdelen is een plus
  • Je hebt bij voorkeur kennis van dimensionale en geometrische toleranties
  • Basiskennis van CAD-tools is mooi meegenomen
  • Je bent analytisch ingesteld en denkt oplossingsgericht
  • Je communiceert vlot in zowel Nederlands als Engels

Within Barco, the Operational Quality Team implements, administers, and continually improves Quality Control & Quality Assurance, to support manufacturing, industrialization and warehouse management. The team consists of a production Quality Assurance department and an Incoming Quality Control team.

The CMM programmer is responsible for programming, implementing, and operating dimensional inspections using a coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to ensure compliance with parts specifications.

Your responsibilities:

  • Define the measurement method on CMM:
    • Determining clamping and alignment methods
    • Selecting appropriate probes
    • Defining measurement fixtures
  • Create CMM dimensional inspection programs (MCosmos) based on technical drawings or 3D models
  • Measure complex optomechanical parts with CMM
  • Accurately report measurement results
  • Identify deviations and communicate them towards in a database. 

Your Profile:

  • You hold a degree in a mechanical domain, or equivalent by experience
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Ideally, you have experience in measuring and evaluating mechanical parts
  • Preferably, you have a good understanding of dimensional and geometric tolerances.
  • You have basic knowledge of a CAD tool
  • You have an analytical mindset
  • You speak both Dutch and English
