Key Responsibilities

  • Review, issue, and close work permits (Hot Work, Confined Space Entry, etc.)
  • Ensure all permits are correctly filled, approved, and valid before work starts.
  • Verify that all safety precautions, isolation procedures, and risk assessments are in place.
  • Coordinate with HSE officers and supervisors to ensure compliance with company and regulatory safety standards.
  • Liaise between operations, maintenance, and contractors to avoid conflicting activities.
  • Ensure all stakeholders understand the scope and safety requirements of the permitted work.
  • Maintain PTW registers and logs.
  • Archive permits and related documents for audit and compliance.
  • Support training of staff on PTW procedures and safety practices.
  • Conduct toolbox talks or safety briefings related to permit-controlled work.

Requirements;

  • PTW holder
  • Able to train other staff on the Permit to Work system, including how to request, review, and close permits.
  • Immediate joiner
  • With a Valid QID
