The Center for People with Disabilities in Qatar is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech & Language Therapist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team. As a Speech & Language Therapist at our center, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing challenges. Your expertise will directly contribute to the development of personalized, evidence-based therapy plans and foster meaningful improvements in the lives of our clients.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent from a recognized institution).
  • Valid licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech & Language Therapist in Qatar.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in a clinical or educational setting.
  • Strong diagnostic, analytical, and clinical reasoning skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • High levels of empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for improving patient outcomes.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic (spoken and written) is highly preferred.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities in children and adults with disabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records, including assessment reports, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Design and implement individualized, evidence-based therapy plans tailored to each client's specific needs.
