*Contexte et environnement*
TotalEnergies' Al Khalij field is a mature field where the subsurface and surface data collected from the wells is used for monitoring and synthesis purposes, to ensure a proper follow-up of the field, the optimization of the production, and to identify future targets for development.

The job is performed in a transverse environment with drilling/completion, geosciences and production departments and the incumbent should develop skills to cover reservoir geology, geophysics, subsurface in addition to its core specialty in reservoir engineering

Position holder will be located in Doha, TotalEnergies EP Qatar subsidiary's office (Msheireb Downtown).

Work requires good communication and coordination skills, accuracy, completeness of data, adherence to established standards and guidelines and self-motivation.

*Activités
Monitoring*

  • Participate to the well production follow-up, data consolidation, analysis and reporting
  • Participate in the monthly back-allocation exercises
  • Participate in the definition of the monthly monitoring program
  • Interaction with Field operations teams (Production, Well performance, Metering) for production monitoring and the follow-up of actions on wells
  • Active participation in the process to identify and promote production improvement actions
  • QC of acquired data with post-mortem for performance improvement

Propose and mature opportunities for improving well inflow performance and productivity

  • Active participation in the "Barrel Boosting Group" teamwork, ensuring reservoir management best principles are considered in proposals
  • Recommend production improvement actions on existing wells to optimize field production and reservoir management.
  • Identify / Propose new targets/opportunities/technologies to prepare future infill/lateral/WO activities and sustain field production

Reservoir simulation

  • Participate in dynamic model maintenance for reservoir flow simulation.
  • Perform sensitivities on water injection for production and voidage replacement optimization and purposes.

*Profil du candidat*

  • Education: BSc. in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering.
  • Professional experience: Fresh Qatari graduate.
  • Technical competencies: Sound reservoir engineering skills, and use of reservoir softwares (OFM, PDMS, Spahir, Petex suite, and basic knowledge of 3D simulation softwares)
  • Behavioral competencies: Interactive, Autonomy, Open Mindedness, Analysis, Reliable, Teamworking, Client oriented.
  • Other competencies: Fluency in English mandatory. Fluency in Arabic and/or French would be an advantage.
