Compliance Officer

We are looking for a highly organized and analytical Compliance Officer to support the enforcement and monitoring of regulatory, operational, and company-wide compliance standards at QACC. This role plays a key part in protecting the organization through inspections, documentation reviews, audit participation, training support, and ensuring alignment with established procedures and policies. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to collaborate across departments to drive operational excellence and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine checks and inspections to ensure adherence to internal policies, safety standards and regulatory requirements.

• Document and track compliance findings, ensuring corrective actions are followed up.

• Maintain accurate compliance records and prepare reports for management review.

• Support the implementation of compliance programs and policies.

• Assist in preparing responses to regulatory updates and inquiries.

• Escalate non-compliance concerns or deviations to the Standards & Compliance Manager.

• Assist in internal and external audits by collecting necessary data and documentation.

• Support analysis of compliance breaches and provide recommendations.

• Participate in investigations related to non-compliance incidents.

• Provide support to the Training & Compliance Team in delivering training and awareness sessions.

• Monitor training attendance, maintain records, and ensure compliance with mandatory programs.

• Help develop training materials related to compliance standards and policies.

• Contribute to departmental planning by providing input on hazards, risks, procedures, and best practices.

• Identify and support process improvements to enhance administrative efficiency.

• Assist in managing compliance dashboards, reports, and training portfolios.

• Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulatory frameworks.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to prepare clear reports and documentation.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.

• High accuracy and attention to detail in compliance assessments.

• Ensure confidentiality and protection of all sensitive information in line with company policies.

• Prevent unauthorized disclosure, loss, or misuse of data.

• Promote awareness of occupational health and safety standards.

• Support implementation of safety policies and participate in incident reporting.

• Ensure hazards, risks, and safety deviations are reported promptly.

• Demonstrate awareness of Qatar Airways Group Environmental Objectives.

• Understand environmental principles and how they relate to departmental roles.

High School Diploma with 6 years of job-related experience / Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of job-related experience.

Preferred:

• Certification in food safety, quality management, auditing, compliance, or related areas.

• Experience in aviation catering, food production, hospitality operations, or regulated environments.
