Sr. QA/QC Engineer

We are seeking a highly qualified Sr. QA/QC Engineer with expertise in the building sector for our esteemed organization. The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:

Key Requirements:

• Engineering degree (Civil Engineering).
• Experience: minimum of years.
• UPDA is an added advantage
• Candidates' experience must be in the building sector only. Candidates having only experience in infrastructure projects are not qualified for these positions.

Responsibilities:

• Check all incoming materials as per project specifications and approved material submittals.
• Monitor WIRs and test reports and update the Quality Manager and site team on the status.
• Preparation and monitoring of QA/QC Plans, Method of Statements and Test Plans before commencement of the project and implementing it during the project in order to meet the project quality requirements and client's expectations.
• Ensure that control of document procedures is implemented and all approved documents from consultant are distributed through the document control system.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to QA/QC inspectors and project teams on quality control processes, procedures, and best practices
• To develop of the Project Quality Plan and responsible for the independent surveillance and audit of the project for compliance with procedures and requirements, as well as the documentation of compliance and corrective actions.
• Verify if work inspections are carried out as per the plan and advice the construction team for the corrective action to avoid the rejection of work and emphasizes that work inspection shall passed during the first submission with 90% rate.
• Co-ordination with concrete batching plant. To do trial mixes of different grades as per flow requirement, slump, and compressive strength of project with respect to structural requirement.
• Responsible for Quality Management System compliance and system improvement activities
• Establishing, implementing, and maintaining the quality management system.
• Support the Quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.
• Responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the overall activities of receiving / outgoing quality functions.
• Support Quality Manager and report suppliers'/contractor performance and make recommendations for improvements through the entire supply chain process
• Accountable for Project KPI, leading and lagging indicator identification, relevant to the portfolio as well as individual projects.
• Responsible for Third Party Inspection management.
• Coordinate, Manage and Attend Pre-production kick-off meetings, Pre Inspection Meeting with Supplier/Subcontractor.
• Issue NCR or SOR in case of non-conformity is observed.
• Conduct follow-up inspection if required until the material or work is confirmed completed and ready for the Consultant's inspection.
