Role Description

This is a
full-time on-site role for a Lifting Equipment Inspector
, based in
Doha, Qatar
. The Lifting Equipment Inspector will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and certifying lifting equipment to ensure compliance with local and international safety standards and regulations.

Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Conducting thorough inspections of lifting appliances and accessories
  • Preparing detailed technical inspection and certification reports
  • Identifying potential hazards and recommending corrective actions
  • Monitoring and overseeing preventive maintenance schedules
  • Ensuring full compliance with Qatar's legal and client-specific safety requirements
  • Collaborating with the HSE team to promote and maintain a safe working environment

Qualifications

  • Proven
    inspection and testing skills
    for lifting equipment
  • Strong knowledge of
    Qatar lifting regulations
    and international standards (e.g. LOLER, BS, ISO, ASME)
  • Ability to
    prepare detailed and accurate inspection reports
  • Experience in
    hazard identification
    and recommending
    corrective and preventive actions
  • Familiarity with
    preventive maintenance planning
    and documentation
  • Excellent
    communication and teamwork
    skills
  • Minimum three (3) valid LEEA certifications
    (e.g. LEEA General, Lifting Accessories, Lifting Machines, or equivalent)
  • Relevant certifications in lifting equipment inspection and safety
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
    or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience
    in a similar inspection or testing role
