Job Summary:

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a seasoned Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Manager to lead the delivery of comprehensive facilities management services for a major project in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing MEP operations, a strong understanding of local regulations, and fluency in Arabic to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the overall operations and maintenance activities across all MEP systems and soft services.
  • Develop and implement strategic maintenance plans, including preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all local regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental policies.
  • Manage and supervise technical teams, subcontractors, and service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Monitor and report on operational performance, KPIs, and SLAs, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and address operational concerns.
  • Oversee budget planning, cost control, and resource allocation for O&M activities.
  • Drive innovation and efficiency through the adoption of best practices and new technologies, including CAFM systems.
Prequalification / Certification:
  • Bachelor's Degree in MEP Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Valid UPDA Grade A Certificate is mandatory.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in an Operation & Maintenance Manager role within the Facilities Management field in the State of Qatar.
  • Fluency in Arabic (both spoken and written) is required.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale FM operations.
  • Familiarity with international FM standards and local regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in FM software and reporting tools.
  • CFM (Certified Facility Manager) certification is preferred.
