Position Summary

The Warehouse coordinator oversees general operations and activities, including taking deliveries, conducting stock checks, recording warehouse transactions, storage of inventory, and guaranteeing the safe and efficient operation of the material handling equipment in the store.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, store, maintain and issue inventory comprised of store items
  • Determine inventory levels for all items purchased and stored; prepare orders sheets for showrooms including item specifications and desired quantities.
  • Unload goods and check them against order forms
  • Catalogue or label items with storage details
  • Place goods in bins and on racks, or stack bulky items on floors
  • Complete orders by selecting goods from shelves and checking them off appropriate lists
  • Package and send out completed orders to customers
  • Obtain details of the location and quantity of items in stock, using visual display units or computers
  • Enter details of received delivery slips, requisitions and invoices into computers
  • Count and record the number of items in store during stockades
  • Advise supervisor on stock and re-ordering levels
  • Help keep the work area neat and tidy.
  • Any other tasks that might occur

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High school or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience in the same field
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to prepare, document and maintain inventory and supply records and reports
  • Ability to schedule work to meet deadlines
  • Computer literate
  • Organizational skills
  • Time Management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to QAR3,750.00 per month
