Showroom & Sales Helper – Cake & Chocolate Shop

To assist in the day-to-day operations of the cake and chocolate showroom by supporting sales activities, maintaining product display and cleanliness, handling packaging, and ensuring excellent customer experience in line with brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:1. Sales Support:

  • Assist the sales team in attending to customers and processing orders.
  • Provide basic product information and help customers with selections.
  • Support in promoting new items, offers, and seasonal products.
  • Assist in order packaging, wrapping, and gift presentation.
  • Ensure prompt service and courteous customer interactions.

2. Showroom Maintenance:

  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the showroom, counters, shelves, and display areas.
  • Refill and arrange cakes, chocolates, and other products attractively.
  • Ensure all items are properly labeled with price tags and product names.
  • Follow proper product rotation (FIFO) to maintain freshness and reduce wastage.
  • Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards as per company policy.

3. Stock & Inventory Assistance:

  • Assist in receiving and checking stock deliveries.
  • Help organize stock in storage areas and showroom displays.
  • Report low stock levels, damages, or expired products to the supervisor.
  • Support in monthly or weekly inventory counts.

4. Customer Service:

  • Greet customers politely and ensure a pleasant shopping environment.
  • Assist in handling customer inquiries or requests, referring to the supervisor when needed.
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar retail, bakery, or confectionery environment preferred.
  • Basic product knowledge of cakes, pastries, and chocolates is an advantage.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Positive and service-oriented attitude.
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail in display, hygiene, and product handling.
  • Ability to multitask and follow instructions.
  • Basic sales and customer interaction skills.
