We are looking for an experienced Civil Estimator to manage the estimation process for construction projects, ensuring accurate cost analysis, budgeting, and risk assessment. The role involves collaborating with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to provide precise project cost projections and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
  • Analyze project drawings, specifications, and scope to identify cost drivers and potential risks.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure realistic and competitive estimates.
  • Review and validate subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a database of historical costs, unit rates, and supplier pricing for future project planning.
  • Support budgeting, tendering, and bid submissions with clear and precise cost analysis.
  • Monitor project cost performance and provide recommendations for cost control and optimization.
  • Mentor and guide junior estimators and ensure adherence to estimation best practices.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in estimation roles for civil construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost estimation techniques.
  • Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Locally available in Qatar with valid visa and QID.
  • Asian Nationals preferred
