Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections of firefighting systems including sprinklers, fire pumps, hydrants, extinguishers, deluge systems, and gas suppression systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair faults in fire detection and suppression equipment.
  • Conduct functional testing of fire alarm panels and associated devices.
  • Ensure compliance with NFPA, OSHA, and other relevant safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs.
  • Coordinate with safety and operations teams to ensure system readiness.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests and participate in incident investigations when required.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in firefighting systems maintenance, preferably in Oil & Gas or industrial environments.
  • Knowledge of fire protection codes and standards (e.g., NFPA).
  • Familiarity with various fire suppression systems (e.g., foam, CO₂, FM-200).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills.
