 Senior QA Engineer in our office in Amman.

As a Senior QA Engineer you will play a significant role in our continuous delivery of mission-critical projects, being a part of a dynamic global development team. You will work alongside with another QA Engineer, focusing on the manual aspect of the testing and at the same time developing your automated testing skill set. This is an excellent opportunity for a suitable and ambitious individual to grow and develop the career as the team grows.

Responsibilities:

Perform manual testing of new features and bug fixes, ensuring high-quality releases.Convert manually tested features into automated test scripts to enhance test coverage.Conduct manual regression testing when required, integrate automation into the regression suite and run regression suites whenever required.Collaborate with product and development teams with minimal supervision to refine testing strategies.Actively contribute to test planning, scenario creation, and continuous test process improvements.Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium/Appium/Both for web and mobile applications.Work on multiple projects simultaneously, balancing both manual and automation testing efforts.Ensure adherence to good coding practices, version control, and automation framework best practices.

Experience Requirements:

5+ years of experience in Web and Mobile manual & automation testing.Strong understanding of programming fundamentals, preferably in Java.Proficiency in automation testing with Selenium or Appium.Solid understanding of client-server architecture and API testing (Postman or similar tools).Advanced knowledge of SQL for database validation.Strong grasp of SDLC, STLC, QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.Ability to write effective test plans and test cases for manual and automated execution.Upper-intermediate level English for communication with global teams.Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based test environments.

The following requirements are an advantage:

Experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).Exposure to CRM systems.Exposure to Trading applications and businessFamiliarity with Backend-technologies (Rest API, GRPC etc.)Strong adherence to clean coding principles and test automation best practices.
