Key Responsibilities & Tasks

1. Invoice Management & Data Entry

  • Review, verify, and sort invoice documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Update invoices in SAP accurately and on time, resolving any discrepancies or errors.
  • Adhere to company credit policies and evaluate customer creditworthiness.

2. Interdepartmental Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate with departments to ensure timely submission of accurate invoice and financial documents.
  • Collaborate with other Accounts Receivable Accountants to share best practices and achieve team goals.
  • Support senior accountants with reports, projects, and special assignments.

3. Financial Transaction Management

  • Record all financial transactions accurately in SAP before month-end closing.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate Customer and General Ledger (GL) accounts.
  • Process invoices and customer receipts promptly and accurately.

4. Customer Account Management & Reconciliation

  • Review and reconcile customer accounts regularly.
  • Investigate and resolve account discrepancies, maintaining communication with customers.
  • Ensure timely and accurate updating of customer account information.

5. Debt Collection & Customer Support

  • Follow up proactively with customers to collect outstanding payments.
  • Work with debt collectors to negotiate payment arrangements when necessary.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide required documentation or clarification.

6. Other Duties

  • Perform additional related duties as assigned by the Senior Accountant Receivables or line manager to support operational requirements.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance, preferably within the transportation or service industry.

Certificates & Trainings:

  • Accounts Receivable Management training.
  • Financial Analysis certification.
  • Accounting Software or SAP training.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: QAR30, QAR32,000.00 per month
