We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Assistant Event Sales Manager for a luxury hotel in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in conference and event sales within the hospitality industry, with a proven ability to generate leads, convert inquiries into confirmed bookings, and consistently achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in driving event and conference sales to achieve and exceed revenue goals
  • Handle inquiries, prepare proposals, conduct site inspections, and follow up to secure bookings
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, corporate partners, and event organizers
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless event execution and exceptional guest satisfaction
  • Support the development and implementation of sales strategies, promotions, and business plans
  • Prepare regular sales reports, track performance, and identify new market opportunities
  • Represent the hotel at networking events, exhibitions, and trade shows to promote facilities and services
  • Maintain accurate records of client communication and bookings in the CRM or sales system

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in luxury hotel sales, preferably in conferences and/or events
  • Prior experience in Assistant Manager roles or equivalent within hotel event sales
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office and hotel sales systems (Opera/Sales & Catering or similar)
  • Must be locally available in Qatar with a valid Qatar visa and QID
