About the Roles:

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with strong experience in the design of HVAC, firefighting, and plumbing systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full design process, multidisciplinary coordination, and ensuring compliance with international standards and local authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform detailed design and calculations for HVAC, firefighting, and plumbing systems.

Prepare design drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.

Develop all required reports such as Design Basis, Design Calculations, and Feasibility Studies.

Coordinate effectively with architectural, electrical, and structural teams.

Ensure all designs comply with ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, and local authority standards.

Participate in value engineering exercises and project review meetings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant design experience.

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC load calculations, hydraulic calculations, and fire protection system design.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and HAP (or equivalent design software).

  • Familiarity with international standards and best practices in mechanical design.

  • Excellent communication, technical reporting, and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications,

  • Previous experience in MEP consultancy firms.

  • Proven experience in high-rise or fit-out projects.

  • Knowledge of local authority requirements (e.g., Civil Defense, Municipality).

  • Registration or certification with professional bodies such as ASHRAE, NFPA, or MMUP/QCDD.
