Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchasing Manager, based in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing procurement operations, negotiating supplier contracts, and ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. Duties include supplier evaluation, inventory management, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and collaborating with internal departments to meet operational needs. The Purchasing Manager will play a key role in ensuring the company's products and services are delivered with the highest quality while minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Experience in procurement, supply chain management, and vendor negotiation
  • Proficiency in inventory management and cost analysis
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Proficiency with procurement and inventory management software
  • Excellent communication skills for supplier relations and team collaboration
  • Ability to analyze market trends and make informed purchasing decisions
  • Knowledge of local and international regulations for procurement is preferred
  • Previous experience in a similar leadership role in the retail or gifting industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
