Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and supporting overall financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and examine financial records, statements, and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
  • Process month-end and year-end close activities.
  • Prepare tax filings and assist with audits as needed.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance and variances.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
  • Collaborate with vendors, and other departments as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) as an accountant or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data analysis tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
