Care Giver

A caregiver provides compassionate care to individuals who need assistance with daily activities, including personal care, household chores, companionship, and medical support. They play a vital role in improving the quality of life for the person they care for, ensuring their physical, emotional, and mental well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Help clients with prescribed medications by reminding them to take medications at the correct times.
• Monitor and record vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration rate).
• Assist with basic medical needs, such as dressing wounds or helping with physical therapy exercises (if applicable).
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing the client's living space.
• Ensure the home environment is safe, reducing risks of falls or injuries.
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and sometimes grocery shopping.
• Provide transportation to medical appointments, social outings, or other errands.
• Assist with accompanying the client during appointments or community events, ensuring they are comfortable and safe.
• Maintain accurate records of the client's daily activities, changes in health or behavior, and any incidents or concerns.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Additional certification in caregiving (Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Ability to handle the physical demands of caregiving (lifting, assisting with mobility, etc.).
• Patience, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and compassionate in challenging situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to report changes in health, share information with family, and interact with clients.
