Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Engineer-Heavy Equipment located in Doha, Qatar. The Sales Engineer will engage in promoting and selling KEMROC's advanced excavator attachments to prospective clients, collaborating with technical teams to ensure tailored solutions, and providing top-tier technical support. Responsibilities include developing and managing customer relationships, presenting solutions, conducting product demonstrations, and offering in-depth technical expertise. The individual will also gather customer requirements, provide accurate product recommendations, and ensure seamless client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience in Sales Engineering and Sales with a proven ability to promote and sell technical products in the heavy equipment industry.
- Strong Technical Support capabilities with expertise in understanding and conveying product specifications for construction machinery and equipment.
- Excellent Communication skills to effectively present information, engage with diverse clients, and provide clear, solution-oriented discussions.
- Customer Service skills, with a focus on addressing client inquiries, building long-term relationships, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent vocational experience is highly desirable.
- Experience in the heavy equipment or construction machinery industry is a strong advantage.
- An understanding of the Middle East market and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or German is a plus.
- Ability to travel locally as needed to engage with clients and support projects.
Experience & Competencies
- 5 years of experience selling excavator attachments like hydraulic hammers, demolition shears, etc.
- 8 years or more as Site Engineer/ project engineer in infrastructure projects like drainage and/or tunneling projects and construction project management.
