Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to handle, move, and store materials efficiently within the worksite or warehouse. The candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment while maintaining safety and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stack materials in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Conduct pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.

  • Ensure materials are stored in the correct locations and arranged neatly for easy access.

  • Assist with inventory management and maintain accurate movement records.

  • Follow all safety protocols and site procedures during forklift operation.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.

  • Coordinate with warehouse supervisors, riggers, and logistics teams for smooth material movement.

  • Adhere to company and site-specific HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Valid Forklift Operator License/Certification (as per Qatar or recognized authority).

  • Minimum 23 years of experience operating forklifts in warehouse, logistics, or construction settings.

  • Knowledge of safe loading, unloading, and stacking practices.

  • Basic mechanical knowledge for routine forklift checks.

  • Ability to read and understand work instructions and safety signage.

  • Must be physically fit and alert while operating machinery.

Skills Required

  • Strong awareness of safety procedures and hazard prevention.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.

  • Ability to operate different types of forklifts (counterbalance, reach truck, etc.) is an advantage.
