Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar, for a Fire Alarm System Pre-Sales Engineer. The responsibilities include providing technical pre-sales support, preparing customized solutions for fire alarm system requirements, collaborating with sales teams to understand customer needs, and delivering comprehensive technical presentations. The role also involves building strong relationships with clients, addressing their inquiries, and ensuring solutions meet compliance and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:


• Review tender documents, specifications, BOQ, and drawings for fire alarm and gas detection systems


• Design system solutions in compliance with NFPA, QCD, and relevant local authority standards


• Select suitable detectors, control panels, accessories, and interfaces for fire & gas systems


• Prepare technical submittals, compliance statements, cause & effect matrices, and datasheets


• Provide technical support during bidding, clarification, and value-engineering stages


• Respond to technical queries (TQs) and prepare deviation statements when required


• Coordinate with OEMs for approvals, technical clarifications, and system suitability


• Attend technical meetings with clients, consultants, and authorities


• Support system integration with F&G, BMS, ESD, and other safety systems


• Attending QCD inspection

Qualification:
Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical).

Must hold
UPDA & QCD certification
(Grade C or Trainee).

Valid NOC required.

Candidate must be
currently available in Qatar.
