The Scaffolder (Hot & Cold WorkSpecialist) is responsible for the safe erection, modification, anddismantling of scaffolding structures to support maintenance, repair, andconstruction activities during offshore shutdowns. This role requires expertisein both hot work (welding, grinding) and cold work (generalmaintenance) scaffolding configurations.Key Responsibilities: Scaffolding Erection & Safety:o    Build, inspect, and dismantle tube -and -fitting and systemscaffolding for hot and cold work zones.o    Ensure compliance with QatarEnergy(QP) scaffolding standards and OSHA/BS EN 12811 regulations.o    Install fire -resistant barriers forhot work areas and fall protection systems (guardrails, toeboards). Hot Work Scaffolding:o    Design heat -resistant scaffolding forwelding, cutting, and grinding operations.o    Coordinate with HSE teams toimplement fire watches and spark containment measures. Cold Work Scaffolding:o    Construct general access scaffolding forinspections, painting, and non -hazardous maintenance.o    Adapt structures for confined spaces (vessels,tanks) and high -risk areas (flare stacks, pipelines). Inspection & Compliance:o    Conduct daily scaffold inspections (tagging:green/yellow/red).o    Maintain records of scaffold tags,load ratings, and handover certificates. Team Coordination:o    Lead a team of scaffold laborers andensure toolbox talks are held.o    Liaise with construction supervisors and HSEofficers to align with shutdown schedules. Requirements· Education: High school diploma or tradecertification in scaffolding.· Certifications(Mandatory):o    CISRS Advanced Scaffolder or Equivalent (OPQT Level 2/3).o    BOSIET/HUET (Offshore Survival), H2S/BA,T -BOSIET.o    Hot Work Permit Competency (QP/ShellStandards).· Experience:o    5+ years in offshore/oil & gasscaffolding, with 3+ years in shutdown projects.o    Familiarity with QatarEnergy (QP),Shell, or TotalEnergies scaffolding protocols.· Skills:o    Expertise in Cuplok, Kwikstage, andtube -and -clamp systems.o    Ability to interpret scaffoldingdrawings and load calculations.​
