System Design & Integration

  • Lead the design and integration of ICA systems for building services, including HVAC, electrical, water, and energy management systems.
  • Ensure compatibility with existing infrastructure and compliance with Qatar Construction.
  • Specifications (QCS) and international standards.
  • Review and approve ICA system drawings, specifications, and technical submittals.

Project Management

  • Manage ICA-related projects from concept to commissioning, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors for seamless execution.
  • Prepare project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.

Operations & Maintenance

  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of ICA systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
  • Optimize system performance through continuous monitoring and upgrades.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, updates, and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Secure necessary approvals from Qatar authorities and ensure adherence to UPDA and local codes.

Team Leadership & Training

  • Provide technical guidance and training to engineers and FM staff.
  • Stay updated on emerging ICA technologies and best practices.
Desired Candidate Profile

Education

  • BSc in MEP Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing specialization).

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the same position within the State of Qatar, with proven expertise in ICA systems for buildings.

Language

  • Fluent in Arabic (spoken and written) and proficient in English.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of ICA systems, PLCs, SCADA, BMS integration, and automation protocols.
  • Familiarity with energy management systems and smart building technologies.
  • Proficiency in system diagnostics, programming, and integration.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.

Preferred

  • Valid UPDA certification (Grade A or equivalent).
  • Experience with IoT-based building automation and sustainability-focused ICA solutions.
