Job Summary:

The Accountant is responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This role plays a key part in supporting management through accurate financial information and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record daily financial transactions and ensure all entries are accurate and complete.
  • Prepare and maintain general ledgers, trial balances, and financial statements.
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws and accounting regulations.
  • Collaborate with auditors and provide required documentation during audits.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely collections and payments.
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in accounting or a similar role (experience requirement may vary).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or similar).
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
