Role Overview

We are hiring a
Trade Infrastructure & Policy Strategy Advisor
based in Doha to support research and advisory work on trade facilitation, transport corridor development, and infrastructure policy. The role is ideal for professionals with experience in regional integration, transport economics, or infrastructure planning—particularly within the Gulf, MENA, or Indian Ocean trade regions.

You will be involved in analyzing trade bottlenecks, developing corridor competitiveness diagnostics, and advising on infrastructure modernization strategies tailored to high-growth economies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct policy analysis and strategic assessments of regional trade and logistics corridors
  • Support the drafting of technical briefs, white papers, and investment strategy reports
  • Map institutional, regulatory, and physical infrastructure barriers to trade integration
  • Contribute to planning efforts around digital customs, port infrastructure, and multimodal logistics
  • Liaise with public and private sector stakeholders to gather data and validate recommendations

Qualifications

  • Degree in International Trade, Public Policy, Transport Planning, or Development Economics
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in trade facilitation, infrastructure development, or policy advisory
  • Familiarity with Gulf trade dynamics, regional infrastructure projects, or economic diversification strategies
  • Strong analytical, writing, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Fluency in English required
