Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of espresso-based drinks, pour-overs, teas, and specialty beverages according to shop standards.
  • Operate and maintain coffee equipment including espresso machines, grinders, and brewers.
  • Engage customers with warmth and professionalism.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and cafe area.
  • Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed with the instructions of the head barista.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Handle cash and card transactions using the POS system.
  • Assist in opening and closing duties including setup, cleaning, and inventory checks.
  • Stay informed about coffee origins, roasting profiles, and brewing methods to educate customers if required.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 1-2 years barista experience in a specialty coffee environment.
  • Proficiency in latte art and milk texturing.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Basic Knowledge of specialty coffee and brewing techniques (e.g., espresso extraction, milk texturing, pour-over).
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for quality.
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
