We are hiring a
Blackboard Techno-Functional Specialist
to support and enhance our Blackboard Learn LMS environment. This role combines technical administration, user support, instructional design, and system integration.

What Will You Do:

  • Administer, configure, upgrade, and maintain Blackboard Learn.
  • Provide technical & functional support to faculty, staff, and students.
  • Resolve issues related to login, accounts, integrations, and system performance.
  • Deliver training sessions and create user guides, documentation, and tutorial videos.
  • Integrate Blackboard with third-party systems (LTI, REST APIs, SSO).
  • Conduct system monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
  • Manage role-based access control, security settings, and user provisioning.
  • Collaborate with DBAs, sysadmins, and external vendors for issue resolution.
  • Support testing, enhancements, custom reports, and LMS extensions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 8+ years' experience
    in LMS administration or e-learning systems.
  • Bilingual (Arabic & English)
    – reading and writing.
  • Strong understanding of LMS workflows, integrations, APIs, and instructional design.

Required Certifications:

  • Blackboard Learn Administrator Certification
  • ITIL Foundation Certification

Preferred Certifications:

  • Blackboard Learn Essentials/Fundamentals
  • Instructional Design Certification (CID / ATD / LPI)
  • CompTIA A+ / Network+ / Security+
  • Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or AWS SysOps Administrator
  • Oracle OCA/OCP or Microsoft SQL Server Certification
  • Scrum Master / PMP (optional)
