Job Title: Project Engineer Civil & Structural (Offshore EPC Project)

Location: Qatar (Onshore Engineering Office / Offshore Fabrication Yard / Offshore Site Interface)

Experience Required: Minimum 8 years total experience, including 4 years in offshore oil & gas projects

Position Overvie

wThe Project Engineer Civil & Structural is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all civil, structural, and architectural engineering activities for offshore EPC projects, including design review, fabrication, load-out, transportation, and offshore installation

.The role ensures that all civil and structural works, such as platform jackets, decks, piles, topsides, and modular structures, are executed in compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and client requirements

es1. Engineering & Design Coordinati

• onReview and manage civil and structural engineering deliverables, including general arrangement drawings, structural models, foundation layouts, pile drawings, and load-out drawing
• s.Coordinate with design consultants and internal engineering teams to ensure structural integrity, weight control, and constructabilit
• y.Verify compliance with project specifications, offshore codes, and standards such as API RP 2A, AISC, BS EN, DNV, ISO, and NORSO
• K.Conduct design reviews and provide inputs for design optimisation and modularisatio
• n.Review vendor drawings for structural steel, gratings, handrails, and other structural component

s.2. Construction & Offshore Suppo

• rtSupervise structural fabrication and assembly at the yard, including fit-up, welding, and dimensional contro
• l.Review and approve fabrication drawings, method statements, and lifting/erection procedure
• s.Support offshore installation activities, including load-out, sea fastening, transportation, and offshore lifting operation
• s.Conduct site inspections and ensure construction works are carried out in compliance with approved drawings, quality standards, and HSE regulation
• s.Support completion and handover of structural systems during pre-commissioning and mechanical completion phase

• onInterface with mechanical, electrical, and piping teams to ensure alignment of supports, penetrations, and routing clearance
• s.Coordinate with marine and installation teams to finalise load-out and lifting analyse
• s.Liaise with client representatives, certifying authorities (e.g., ABS, BV, DNV), and subcontractors for design verification and approva
• l.Attend design and progress meetings to track status, resolve issues, and maintain clear communication among stakeholder

• ntPrepare and review Material Requisitions (MR), Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE), and ensure timely procurement of structural material
• s.Coordinate with vendors and the yard for material inspection, receipt, and preservatio

• ngMaintain deliverable registers, fabrication progress logs, and weight control report

• nceBachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineeri
• ng.Minimum 8 years of EPC project experience, with at least 4 years in offshore oil & gas projects (platforms, jackets, topsides, or modular fabricatio
• n).Strong technical knowledge of offshore structural design, analysis, and fabrication metho
