Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HR with experience in Accounting, Specialist with a strong background in program follow-up, departmental coordination, and problem-solving within the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing human resources functions and accounting tasks, ensuring effective communication and problem resolution across our engineering and site teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources:

  • Manage recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Oversee employee relations, addressing issues, and providing support to ensure a positive work environment.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Implement and follow up on employee training and development programs.
  • Handle payroll processing, benefits administration, and performance reviews.

Accounting:

  • Perform general accounting duties, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial analysis.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.

Program and Departmental Follow-Up:

  • Develop and implement follow-up programs to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
  • Coordinate with various departments, especially engineering and site teams, to monitor progress and resolve issues.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports to management.
  • Identify potential problems and implement solutions proactively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR and accounting, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and accounting principles.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
