The Team Leader will spearhead our technical operations within the employee benefits and property & casualty departments. This pivotal role involves overseeing the insurance placement process, managing client services, and leading our dedicated teams toward achieving operational efficiency and excellence. Your leadership will be instrumental in upholding our reputation for high-quality service, fostering innovation, and maintaining our competitive edge in the insurance brokerage industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage technical operations for the employee benefits and property & casualty departments.
  • Supervise the insurance placement process, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and standards.
  • Lead the service team in delivering exceptional client support, efficiently resolving inquiries and issues.
  • Develop strategies to improve operational efficiency and the quality of services offered.
  • Liaise with various departments to ensure integrated service delivery and alignment with overall business goals.
  • Mentor and support team members, promoting a culture of professional growth and continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in technology to guide strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a strong emphasis on roles in technical management or leadership within an insurance brokerage context.
  • In-depth knowledge of employee benefits and property & casualty insurance products and services.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to inspire and lead teams to success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the skill to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • Proficient in insurance brokerage software and technology.
  • Strategic thinker with robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Brokerage background is a plus.
