Maxillofacial Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our reputable healthcare facility in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and performing surgical procedures related to diseases, injuries, and defects involving the face, jaw, and mouth. Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in Qatar with valid licensing or eligibility for license transfer. Key Responsibilities Examine, diagnose, and treat diseases, injuries, and deformities of the oral and maxillofacial regions. Perform complex surgeries such as orthognathic surgery, trauma reconstruction, cyst or tumor removal, and dental implant placement. Collaborate with dental specialists, ENT surgeons, and other medical professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Conduct preoperative and postoperative consultations, ensuring high standards of patient care. Manage emergency cases involving facial trauma and jaw fractures. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with facility and regulatory requirements. Participate in continuous professional development and clinical meetings. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years post-specialization experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Licensure: Valid QCHP license or eligibility for license transfer within Qatar. Skills: Excellent surgical and diagnostic skills. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Preferred Attributes Experience working in hospital or advanced dental clinic settings in the GCC. Familiarity with digital radiography, 3D imaging, and implant planning systems. Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage. Benefits Competitive salary package (commensurate with experience).
